Engine 1
1998 E-One / Freightliner
Engine 1 is a 1998 FL-80 Freightliner.  It has a 330 h.p. Cummings engine with a Allision automatic transmission.  Inside the cab is 4  S.C.B.A.  seats so  fire personel can be pack up ready to go.  The midship pump is a 1250 g.p.m. pump with 2 cross lays (one with foam) and a deck gun.  The foam unit is a dual selector foam unit with both class a and a.f.f.f. foam in the holding tanks.  1000 feet of 5" l.d.h supplies the truck through 2 -5" piston intake located on each side of the truck.  The truck has a full set of jaws aboard along with a generator for the sawzall's and a set of airbags and air chisels.
Unit 4
2004 Chevy C-3500
Unit 4 is a 2004 Chevy C-3500.  It was purchased from Tonniges Chevrolet in Osceola.  It has a 8.3 L. gas engine with a Allision automatic transmission.  The lighting and warning system was done by M.V.P. out of York and the 225 gallon tank and 18 h.p. pump was changed over by fire department members from the old unit it replaced.  It has a foam system with two holding tanks.  It is always the first vehicle to leave the station along with one of the chiefs to access he situations and radio back.  It is also used for brush and field fires.

Osceola -99
2000 McCoy-Miller/ Ford
Osceola 99 is a 2000 McCoy-Miller rescue unit.  It is mounted on a 2000 Ford F-450 chassis with a 7.3 L. Power Stroke Diesel Engine.  It was purchased as a Demonstrator as it was used by Lincoln Fire until there built units where delivered.  It is fully equipped with a Zoll Defibrillator and a matching Stryker Cot and Stair chair.
Unit 6
1980 G.M.C. Support Truck
Unit 6 is a 1980 G.M.C. Support Vehicle. It contains a 6 bottle 2216 p.s.i. cascade system, stokes basket, an extra 1500 gallon drop tank and cribbing for car and farm accidents.  The large air tanks can also supply the air bags and air chisels.  The O.V.F.D. members built the truck after the old water tank was taken of and replaced by unit 5.  Click on the project page to see the building of this truck and onto the photo to see whats in this truck.
Unit 2
1967 Ford Tanker
Unit 2 is a 1967 tanker it was bought new and has since been redone by the member of the department.  It has a 1300 Gallon tank with quick dump.  It is also used for brush and field fires and is equiped with front brush line and S.C.B.A. for the nozzlemen.  Check out the project page to see the rebuilding of this truck.
Unit 3
1984 Chevy Equitment Van
Unit 3 is a 1984 Chevrolet equipment van.  It was bought new and the compartment and warning equipment was added.  It has 4 SCBA in brackets so firefighter can get packed on the way to the scene.  It is also equipped with a generator and scene lights.  It is also used on storm watch and a back up rescue unit if needed.
1929 Chevrolet
The "29" as the member call it was the very first motorized fire truck that Osceola owned.  It has a front mount pump and only 2000 miles on it.  Currently it is being restored and engine work is being done on it as it has "froze up"  Any suggestion on where to find parts would be greatly appreciated.

Unit 5 is a 2005 Pierce Contender built on a Kenworth T-300 Chassis.  It has a 2000 gallon tank with side and rear dumps.  It also contains a 500 G.P.M. P.T.O. pump with pump and roll capabilities.  It is powered by a 315 h.p. Cummings engine with a 5 speed Allison automatic transmission.  It also has a 2100 gallon drop tank.  The truck was purchased from M.V.P. out of  York Nebraska.
