The Osceola Fire and Rescue Department have had a busy spring running some major calls. Check back in as we update our page with some of the calls. Congratulations to Justin Sunday, Brian Heckman and Ronnie Carlson for completing their firefighter one classes. Andy Roberts, Justin Sunday, Joe Sunday, Ryan Sanley, Anthony Metsl, Ronnie Carlson, Brian Heckman and Toby Watts attended the Nebraska State Volunteers Firefighters Fire School in Grand Island May 18-20. O.V.F.D. responds to a structure fire north of town. Click here to see more from the fire. The picture above is a badly melted smoke detector but as bad as it was damage is was still going off which proves that smoke detectors can and do save lives.
