Jim Lewis Open House
A open house was held on January 25, 2004 in honor of Jim Lewis' retirement from the O.V.F.D and Rescue Squad.  Jim  served 40 years on the fire department (30 years as chief) and was a member of the original rescue squad along with his wife Lorraine. We would like to thank Jim and Lorraine for every thing they have done for both departments.  On the day of the open house we where in the middle of a blizzard but that did not prevent the community from turning out to celebrate this special occasion.  A special thanks goes out to Nebraska State Fire Investigator John Falagonie for braving the elements and presenting Jim with a Admiralship in The Great Nebraska Navy.
