The O.V.F.D. held a house burn on February. 2,2006 along with the Shelby Fire Department. The house was located in Shelby's district with the landowner living in Osceola district so it was decided that both departments would host the drill. Many other local departments participated in the drill. Interior attacks was worked on as well as rural water supply. The O.V.F.D. and S.V.F.D. would like to thank Mark Schott for letting us use the structure for training and all the area departments for providing tankers and other equipment for the training exercise.
